The better the OM, the more listings you'll get

I recently got feedback from one of our esteemed agents about the number of compliments they've received from one of the OMs we designed for them. In particular, the owner mentioned how much they loved the mapping and visual plotting of their aerials. By the way, visual plotting means actually pointing out amenities and places of interest using logos and call outs.




Take a look at this example above. The agent wanted to use this listing to catapult their presence in a saturated market area known as the Fairfax District. There are a lot of agents that operate in this well-known location, and our job was to make the agent stand out from the competition



One way to do this is by hiring us to pay close attention to your listing, location and photos, and use them to create detailed visuals such as nearby retail synergy, local developments, proximity to major landmarks, and showcasing the alley access.



Another way to establish your presence in your market area is by actually demonstrating knowledge of your geographical location. For this listing, we designed a page showing our knowledge of the Fairfax District, not just by putting words on paper, but by actually showing a map outline of the submarket, pointing out its 3 major landmarks, and sharing a quick demographic snapshot.




Here is something that 95% of other designers don't do, and the few that do, are not as detailed at - creating retailer maps. The reason many people have to outsource this feature is because it is damn hard. It takes a long time to do even for an experienced designer like myself. However, I deeply care about my agents being selected to represent more clients/seller in their market area. So this is a must.




Don't get me wrong, I understand that many people believe all you have to do is put a price and an address on a word doc and the property sells itself. And while that may be true in some instances, isn't it worth investing in your clients and their assets? Why would you not prefer to be the economist of choice in your area and get more listings?


I'm telling you right now, we are helping people win more listings and with much higher price points than ever before because of our philosphy of continously improving our marketing to serve you and your client's needs.
